Our ONE-DAY HIKE is an opportunity to experience the Colca Canyon in a different way, challenge yourself on a significant hike with several panoramic and amazing views. A non-classic one-day hike with a picnic can be a great way to enjoy the nature and the outdoors without massive groups. This excursion will allow you to explore the magnificent of the Colca Canyon through a Capac Ñan trail (Inca and pre Inca paths).
ITINERARY:
2:45 am. Pickup from your hotel in downtown or the main square. 2 hours and a half by a private vehicle to “La Bruja Viewpoint” 4900m. (Traditional Pago a la Pachamama)
6:30 am. Viewpoint AGOTREK, to appreciate pre-inca terraces and Mismi mountain range, where the Amazonas river source is located.
6:45 am. We continue by our vehicle for around 40 more minutes driving to La Cruz del Condor Lookout
7:30 am. The Cruz del Cóndor is the Most Popular and mass touristic lookout of Colca canyon we stay here for around 15 minutes only.
8:00 am. Tapay viewpoint, (It takes 5 more minutes only driving to get here) it is another lookout to see them condors.

👉 START OF THE HIKING
8:40 am. We enjoy a beautiful scenery deep in the canyon, with views of condors and various types of local flora. A 1:30-minute hike covers 3,3 miles/5.3km.
10:20 am. We arrive at Pampa San Miguel, where our vehicle will pick us up and we drive for 30 minutes to get at Pinchollo Village.
10:50 am. We arrive in Pinchollo 3600m. Where we will taste different native fruit from the area and a quiet new typical drink named Colca sour. Then we continue to the hot springs.
11:30 am. We arrive at the hot springs, where we will enjoy thermal waters between 30 to 50 degrees Celsius. (1h.)
12:30 pm. We continue by vehicle to a country side family restaurant.
1:30 pm. We return to Arequipa.
5:30 pm. Arrival in the city center.
